The Studio Pendleton is owned and operated by Emily LeValle and Josh McGraw. They have their heart and soul in the success of family fun for the Pendleton area. Raising children in this community gives them the drive to create experiences for kids and families to unite.

Emily LeValle grew up in the Flathead Valley of Montana. After taking time to study the great master's art in Venice, Italy, she decided to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. With her heart always being in the West, she wanted raise her children in a small town. Pendleton was the location she decided on. A few years after moving to Pendleton, she decided to pursue a Masters degree in education from Eastern Oregon University.--quickly becoming a second grade teacher with the Pendleton School District. Emily has now decided to combine her two passions and open an art studio with her Fiancé, Joshua McGraw. Being formally trained in Fine Arts and having a Masters in education, gives Emily the knowledge to run a studio and lead classes in a way that allows all to feel successful in their art ability.  

 

Joshua McGraw,  a Pendleton native, and a well-respected educator in Pendleton, pursued a Bachelors of arts in education from Western Oregon University then went on to Portland State University for his Masters of science in curriculum and instruction. Josh has been teaching with the Pendleton School District for seven years and will continue teaching while supporting Emily and The Studio Pendleton after school and on weekends. Josh remembers downtown Pendleton of his childhood and is excited to help rebuild the fun, family-centered environment he remembers so fondly.
